  1. Population and dissenters: We have about forty families in our parish, & only one dissenter of the Presbyterian Persuasion, who behaves quietly & peaceably. We have no meeting <house> in our Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: We have no Publick, or Charity School, endowed: But we have an old Master who teaches Children to read, & write at so much per weeke, by whose means, & the assistance of their Parents, & Masters the Children are well instructed in the Church Catechism according to the Doctrine of the Church of England, & are brought to Church Sundays & holidays.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: We have an Alms-house in our parish but not Endowed. We have no Lands or Tenements left for the repair of our Church, or other pious use: But we have seventy pounds in money given by divers Persons for the use of the poor, who have interest of it yearly viz such as have no pay of the parish. It lies in several farmers hands on single I have heard of no Abuses hitherto in ye Management Thereof.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside Personally upon my Cure, & in my Parsonage house.

  5. Curate: I have no Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No; unlesse to assist A sick, or absent friend in his necessity.

  7. Frequency of divine service: We have prayers, & A Sermon every Sunday twice A day: And prayers every holiday & A Sermon on such days as require it.

  8. Frequency of communion: At least six times every year.

  9. Number of communicants: Ours is but A smal parish so that the greatest number that I ever had of Communicants at once, never reach’d to forty there were above thirty last Easter who receiv’d the Sacrament: But (except on the great festivals) I have not much above halfe the number.

  10. Catechising of children: Every Sunday for about A quarter of [the] year successively in the beginning of the long days in Spring & Summer: And at proper intervals during the whole Summer. The Parishioners send their Children, & Servants duely to be instructed by me.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: We have no Chapel within our Parish.
